Christmas Day Service @ 9:30am 25th Dec 2020

We invite you to join us here at North Balwyn Baptist Church on 136 Doncaster Road, Balwyn North, for our service on Christmas Day at 9:30am. While we know that our God does not live in a building, it is still exciting to be able to be back in church to be able to meet and connect and support and encourage each other in person as we journey through life. We are thankful that we have been able to be in touch through ZOOM through out the lock down period.

We are a cross cultural community that passionately follow Jesus. We have people from as many as 25 different backgrounds in our congregation. We meet regularly on Sundays for a 10am church service. In addition to our regular service, for every second and fourth Sundays of the month, we have a Mandarin service. We have an active kids and youth church program as we seek to teach our young children and teens about the bible and to engage them in the community with the warm love of Christ.

For Youths (years 7-12), we have CATALYST Youth. CATALYST Youth meet typically on Friday evenings. For those from Grades 3-6, we have IGNITE. Through the lock down period, all our programs have moved online on to ZOOM. However as restrictions ease, we plan to resume face-to-face activity in the new year.

For our very young, pre-schoolers, we have North Balwyn Playgroup. We have a beautiful indoor and outdoor play area where children have the opportunity for experiential learning and an experienced kindergarten teacher to lead them. Contact the church office for more details.

Besides activities for children, we have Growth groups. Its a great place to connect and learn more about God and the bible. We encourage everyone to join one regardless of where you are in your journey in your faith or even if you are just exploring. We have Craft Club and Friendship Club for the seniors who love a get together. And if you are looking to learn a new language, we have both English and Chinese Conversation classes.
