Save that date – Sunday 30th June 2019 @ 10am! North Balwyn Baptist Church is having a special Sunday event – yes International Sunday. This special Sunday is to celebrate our diversity of backgrounds and unity in our shared faith. Invite family and friends. We welcome everyone and would love to have a chance to connect with you here at North Balwyn Baptist Church. The event starts with our International Sunday focused service at 10am. The service is followed by a shared buffet luncheon. Wear your national costume or your favourite footy team 🙂 and bring a dish to share in.
We are a people from many countries and backgrounds eg. Greece, Italy, New Zealand, South Africa, England, Sri Lanka, Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, North and South America AND Australia, to name just a few. We now call Melbourne our home and share in same faith.
Each year, typically following our focus on Missions over the month of May, we dedicate this Sunday to have some fun and join in a meal together. From the very young at kids church on Sundays to the youth, young adults, working adults, families and retirees, there will be something for everyone.
We are conveniently located at 136 Doncaster Road, Balwyn North on tram 48 line. We have our service every Sunday at 10am (with our sermons interpreted into Mandarin). If you are looking to connect, besides our regular service, we have a whole host of activities.
