Friday 21st September (3pm) – 22nd September (3pm) – this weekend – we will be playing 24 hours of Table Tennis.  Yes, it will be a Ping Pong Marathon / Table Tennis Marathon.

  1. What is the Ping-Pong-a-Thon about?  It is a fundraising and advocacy movement combating human trafficking and exploitation of young people in South East Asia via a series of table tennis events held annually each October.  North Balwyn Baptist Church has been a host to this event annually since the beginning.

  2. How can you be a part of this? There are 2 ways to participate in this event (1) sign up to play and seek out sponsors (2) sponsor player(s).  This is done on line  www.pingpongathon.com (search “Balwyn North”). We welcome everyone to participate.  It is open to all ages and abilities and we would love to have as many people possible playing during that 24 hours.  You don’t have to play for the full 24 hours :).  You can play for as long or as short a time as you wish.  Or you may just want to come and support the players.
