Its the easiest way for us to reach out to our congregation and our communities and the best means for you to STAY CONNECTED in times as these.
Here at North Balwyn Baptist Church, we are a multicultural church with people in our congregation from backgrounds of over 30 countries. While our regular congregating for our 10am Sunday worship on 136 Doncaster Road, Balwyn North, has temporarily been suspended, in addition to our regular sermon upload on SoundCloud, we are now online on YouTube as well. We hope to continue online even when our services resume so that you can still join us from where ever you are.
Outside of our Sunday service, we have many other ways and means to connect to our people with many different interests. We have Playgroup for the ages 0-5 that meet Wednesdays and Thursdays in our lovely play and garden area. For the Grades 3-6s, there is IGNITE, and CATALYST for the Years 7-12. Each of these groups are exploring or have just started online means to connect and share in God’s word together. There at also Growth Groups that meet at different times of the week to study God’s word together. We are currently studying the book of Romans. Its a wonderful way to connect, support and serve each other. Other groups that gather here include Craft & Friendship Club, Mandarin & English Conversation classes, Ikebana Floral arrangements and we also have a regular Saturday morning exercise class!
